Student Absences
Call/leave a message with our attendance clerk Maria Schuster at (707) 837-7737 ex 40003. Please include your student's first & last name as well as the reason for the absence. Messages are checked during school hours.

Short Term Independant Study
We would like to remind you that if you need to put your child on short term independent study(3 to 15 days), please allow two weeks' notice for us to get the students to work together. Teachers need time to plan. Please reach out to Lorena Nuno at lnuno@wusd.org to get the process started.
Door Dash or other food deliveries
Just a friendly reminder that we can’t accept DoorDash or any other food delivery services. If your student forgot their lunch we offer free food in the cafeteria or you are more than welcome to drop off food for your student.

Call for Baby Picture Submissions:
Parents of 8th grade students our yearbook staff is busy plugging away at our 2024-2025 WMS Yearbook and we need your help! We are looking for baby pictures to feature in our time honored tradition of the 8th grade baby picture spread.
Please upload theme here to YearbookSnap OR email the yearbook staff at wmsjagsyearbook@gmail.com and include:

8th Grade Recognition Ads
This year we are also continuing the tradition of honoring our 8th graders with recognition ads. Create an ad for your child or their group of friends and include full color pictures and a sweet (or salty) note. Pricing varies and will go up in October.

Athletics Update
Wrestling season is in full swing, Come out and support our wrestling team! See the schedule HERE.
Track & Field- Attention all student/athletes interested in joining the track and field team! The season will begin on February 24th. Make sure to complete the athletic clearance online, link below.
Boys & Girls 6th Grade Basketball Tryouts- Tryouts for the 6th Grade Boys and Girls Basketball teams will begin on March 4th!
Girls' Tryouts: March 4th-6th, from 4:30-6:00 PM Boys' Tryouts: March 4th-5th, from 6:00-7:30 PM
Be sure to complete your athletic clearance so you don’t miss out on the chance to participate. We look forward to seeing you on the court!
All Athletes must be cleared before attending any sport practices/games of their season of sport. The athletic director will begin clearing student/athletes one week prior to the start of the season. Get all your forms completed online!
