6th Grade Science Camp Update

Posted Date: 10/17/24 (5:06 PM)

Sixth Grade Science Camp 2025 will be held at NatureBridge Golden Gate in Marin Headlands, Sausalito. The dates of the trip are March 24 - 26, 2025.  For more information please visit the Nature Bridge website https://naturebridge.org/locations/golden-gate.

At NatureBridge, students will spend their day in small learning groups of about 16 students and at least 1 chaperone, led by a professional NatureBridge educator. Students will engage in collaborative, authentic, and scientific learning experiences in a safe and supportive environment. These experiences are designed to support Next Generation Science Standards and student’s social and emotional development.

All students wanting to go to camp need to commit to attending by December 1st (form is in the office).  After this date, we will not accept any more students so that we can accurately plan for this trip.  If you still have questions please make an appointment to meet with Sarah Bryant by contacting Maddie Cleaver at mcleaver@wusd.org.

Anyone wanting to Chaperone Must complete the request form by 11/1/24. This form can be found in the school office.  There were 70 parents interested in chaperoning and we can only have 20 chaperones.  Please fully read the Chaperone Information Packet before committing to chaperone.
